Our services comply with the regulations of mobile phone network operators in Luxembourg.
10) Spam
The Thumbr service does not send email. Our affiliate networks refer to our products in their promotional materials which are distributed through various channels, including email. If you have subscribed with one of these networks to receive promotional offers via e-mail, you will therefore be able to take advantage of the Thumbr service offer.
If you do not wish to receive these emails, you must contact the sender and inform them of your request. Typically, you'll see an "unsubscribe" button in these emails that will allow you to block emails from a particular sender. You can also block the sender of this email through your email tool (Hotmail, Outlook, Gmail, etc.).
11) Pop up
Some software offers an integrated advertisement service. These types of ads allow software developers to offer free software, and can be present in many applications. They can include download accelerators, weather forecasting tools, and music download apps.
Our affiliate networks may promote the Thumbr Services through pop-up advertisements that appear on screen while using these applications.
Additionally, some websites may generate their own pop-up ads. In most cases, this allows them to continue offering free information and products. It can be compared to TV channels which can broadcast their programs for free through advertising. Pop-ups are harmless and can be closed like any other pop-up. However, if you want to block these pop-ups, you can uninstall the application from which they come, or install a pop-up blocker such as AdAware for example.
